With representation from the PERUKI lead clinician at each site, and with additional representation from nurses involved in emergency care research, the RSC is over 60 strong and is the main decision making body of PERUKI.  

 

Its members are involved in contributing to the development of research, often bringing their ideas or appraising the research proposals of others.  The size of the RSC allows sharing of workload, with quick turnaround in project development.  Taking this approach also ensures studies are deliverable across the network, and facilitates delivery of PERUKI studies at each centre.
